使徒 13:26-41

S: 使徒 13:38-39 ですから、兄弟たち。あなたがたに罪の赦しが宣べられているのはこの方によるということを、よく知っておいてください。モーセの律法によっては解放されることのできなかったすべての点について、信じる者はみな、この方によって、解放されるのです。

O: This is the Gospel to those who are caught up in legalism. I want to check the Greek on this, because the NIV says “justified” where the Japanese says “set free.” Personally, “set free” is a much easier concept for me to grasp than “justified.” Paul was talking to Jews and those who were studying Judaism because they were seeking God, but you can substitute any legalistic religious system for “the Law of Moses” in this passage and it would be equally true. Man creates systems to try to reach God, but the connection is made only when God reaches down to man, which He did through His Son Jesus Christ. Buddhism teaches that the way to “enlightenment” is through emptying yourself, but Christ emptied Himself to take on our human weaknesses and become our Savior. (Philippians 2:5-7) Human philosophy couldn't have dreamed that up, because it negates human pride so completely. As it says in numerous places throughout the Bible, God's grace is for those who are humble enough to receive it.

Ｏ：　今日の節は、律法主義に縛られている人のための福音です。ＮＩＶでは「justified」となっているのに対し、日本語では「解放される」となっているので、ギリシア語を確認したいと思います。私としては、「解放される」の語の方が、「justified 」より、分かりやすい概念のように思います。パウロは、ユダヤ教を学んでいるユダヤ人に、この言葉を教えています。もちろん彼れらは神を求めるためにそうしているのですが、この節では、どんな律法も「モーゼの律法」として当てはめて考えられるでしょう。人は神に近づこうとして体系を作りますが、実はそうしたものは神様の方から作ってくださるものです。つまり、御子イエス・キリストを通してなさったことです。仏教では「悟り」を得るために、自己を無にせよと教えます。しかし、キリストは御自分を無にして、人の弱さのために仕え、救い主となられたのです。（ピリピ２：５～７）人間が作り出した哲学では、そうしたことは夢想だにできないでしょう。なぜなら人間のプライドを完全に否定するものだからです。聖書のいたるところに書いてあることですが、神様の恵みというものは、恵みを頂くために謙遜である者に与えられるのです。

A: I run into the problem of legalism all the time, both in people who are trying to be “good enough for God” and those who know they can't and so have chucked the whole idea of ever being reconciled to God. The latter group tends to insist that God doesn't exist, or that at any rate we can't know Him, as a salve for their guilty consciences. I need to be persistent in communicating the reality that yes, we are all guilty before God, deserving of eternal destruction, but that He has loved us enough to send His Son to make a way for our salvation. This is the ultimate example of what that song sings about: “God will make a way when there seems to be no way.” I can't force anyone to accept God's salvation in Christ, but I must be faithful in giving them the opportunity to do so.

Ａ：　私は律法主義的な問題にしょっ中、出くわしします。「神にために十分、良い」ように努める人達と、そうはできないと思いこみ神と和解を持つという考えを放棄している人との両方に直面しています。後者の人たちは、神様が存在していないか、あるいは神様を知ることはできないのだと主張しがちです。良心の呵責を癒してもらえないと思っているのです。人はみな神の御前では罪びとであり、永遠の滅びに値する存在であること、それでもなお、愛ゆえに一人子を送られたという事実を、私は一貫して伝えたいと思います。神様が道を作ってくださったと言った内容の歌がありますが、まさにその通りです。キリストにある救いを人に強制することはできませんが、伝えうる機会を最大限に活かし誠実に教えていきたいと望んでいます。

P: Father, I'll be seeing F and N tonight, not to mention S this afternoon. Each of these men has heard the Gospel, yet they haven't accepted it yet. I ask for a special anointing today, that Your Word would penetrate their hearts and Your truth would set them free to repent and believe, for their salvation and Your glory. Thank You. Hallelujah!
