ルカ 1:5-20

S: ルカ 1:15 「彼は、ぶどう酒も強い酒も飲まず、また母の胎内にあるときから聖霊に満たされ、」

O: There are things that we can do to be more available to being filled with the Holy Spirit, but God alone can do that work in us; it is not by our effort. John certainly did nothing to “earn” being filled with the Holy Spirit while in the womb! However, Jesus made it clear that it is essential for ministry, by telling His disciples after the resurrection that they weren't to leave Jerusalem until they had it. One thing we can get from this verse, echoed by Paul in Ephesians 5:18, is that reliance on things like alcohol is antithetical to being filled with the Spirit. Whereas it's virtually certain that just about everyone in the Bible drank wine (the sole exception being those under a Nazirite vow), there's a world of difference between that and turning to alcohol for comfort and strength. God is to be our comfort and strength, and as He made very clear through Moses, He brooks no rivals. Recognizing your own weakness and limitations and turning to God because of that awareness is a prime way to receive the flow of His grace and power.

O: 聖霊に満たされ用いられるために私たちのできることは多くありますが、神様のみが私たちのうちに働いてくださいます。私たちの努力によるのではありませ ん。明らかにヨハネは聖霊に満たされるために母の胎で何もしていません！しかし、イエスは復活後に弟子たちにエルサレムを離れないように教え、ミニスト リーの不可欠さを明示しています。今日の節から学べることの一つは、エペソ５：１８でパウロが書いているように酒などに頼るのは聖霊の満たしの妨げになる ということです。一方、聖書では誰しもがワインを飲んでいます。（唯一の例外はナザレ人の誓い）アルコールを慰めや強さのために飲むのと、そうでないのは 大きな違いがあります。神様が私たちの慰めであり強さです。モーゼを通してそのことははっきりと教えられています。論争の余地はないほどです。自分自身の 弱さ、限界を知り、神様に向かうことは、神様の恵みと力を頂く最高の方法です。

A: I've never been drunk, nor particularly tempted to drink, but I am somewhat on-again off-again when it comes to depending truly on God. I have tasted His grace and power enough to be sure it's there, but then I sometimes turn around and depend on the gifts He's already given me, instead of receiving fresh anointing. I shouldn't have to be in the middle of a trial before I depend totally on God! I desire that every believer be filled with the Holy Spirit, but I'm afraid I sometimes project that it's available only to an elite few. Not everyone is going to have the same gift mix, certainly, but God desires to fill every one of His children, and I must not stand in the way of that.

Ａ： 私は飲酒をしたことも、飲酒しようと思ったこともありません。しかし、飲酒の衝動に駆られた時は神様に頼っています。私は神様の恵みと力を十分、味わって いますが、それでも新たな油注ぎを頂くのではなく、自分の才能に頼りがちな時があります。その才能も神様から頂いた賜物なのですが。試 練の渦中に陥る前に神様に頼るべきなのです！全ての信者が聖霊に満たされることを望んでいますが、僅かの人しか満たしはないと思ってしまう時があります。 全ての人が同じように賜物を頂くのではないのですが、神様は全ての子供を満たしたいと望んでおられるのです。私がその妨げになるべきではないでしょう。

P: Father, thank You for speaking to me indeed through this passage. It's so familiar, I really got nothing out of it the first time through. There too, I was depending on past experience instead of receiving fresh anointing! Thank You for this experience being an illustration of what You are saying to me. Help me rejoice in Your gifts and Your anointing but not try to hang on to any of it as though it were mine. Help me act on the reality that it's all Yours, as a good steward of Your manifold grace, so that all of Your purposes in me may be accomplished, for Your glory. Thank You. Hallelujah!
